## How do I turn a long video into shorts with Cliplala?

Paste a YouTube or Twitch link or upload a file at https://cliplala.com/, wait a few minutes, and review the ranked shorts it returns; the first 60 minutes of video are free with no credit card. In more detail:

1. **Send a video.** Paste a YouTube or Twitch link, or upload a MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, WEBM file up to 8 GB. Paid plans have no limit on length.
2. **The engine finds the moments.** Speech is transcribed word by word, every moment is scored, each pick is snapped to a sentence boundary, and any clip that would start or end mid-thought is dropped or re-cut before you see it. You can tell it what to look for and how long each short should be.
3. **Each short is reframed and captioned.** Shorts are cut to 9:16 for a phone screen. The frame follows whoever is talking; for gaming streams the game goes on top and the camera below. Captions are burned in, in one of 10 styles, with each word lighting up as it is said.

Free shorts carry a Cliplala watermark and can be downloaded and posted with it. Unused free minutes come with you onto any paid plan, spent after its monthly hours. **Cancel and refunds:** cancel any time from the Billing page and keep the plan to the end of the period you paid for. A charge is refunded in full within 7 days if no video has run on the plan; after that there is no refund, you cancel instead. Shorts never expire and are never deleted by a downgrade or cancellation.

## Can I share a Cliplala plan with my team?

Yes. Every plan includes seats at no extra cost, and the number follows the plan: Lite 1, Starter 3, Creator 3, Pro 4, Studio 10; the bigger Studio sizes 20. Teammates sign in with their own email, share the monthly hours, and post to their own social accounts. The owner sees who used what and can cap anyone. Leaving a team, a downgrade or a lapsed plan pauses a seat; it never deletes a short.

### Is Cliplala free to try?

Yes. You get 60 minutes of video, one time, with no card. Shorts made on the free plan carry a small Cliplala watermark, and you can post them and download them. A paid plan removes the watermark and gives you hours of video every month. Any free minutes you have not used come with you onto the plan, spent after its monthly hours.

### Do my shorts ever expire?

No. Your shorts stay until you delete them, even on the free plan or after you cancel. Only the long video you sent us is deleted 30 days after upload. To make new shorts from it after that, send it again.

### What if a short comes out wrong?

You fix it, free. Move the frame on any short and we render it again, on every plan. A video we could not make shorts from is never charged. A short broken by a bug on our side is re-run at no cost.

### Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 7 days of a charge, if you have not made any shorts on the plan. Ask us and we refund the charge, and the plan ends. After 7 days there is no refund, even if you did not use your hours. You can cancel instead and keep the plan until your paid time runs out. We always refund a charge made by mistake.

### How do I cancel?

From your Billing page, any time. No email, no call. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, and every short you made. We email you before a yearly plan renews.

### How does pricing work?

You pay for the hours of video you send us each month. It is the same unit on every plan, printed on the card. No credits, no fee per short. Pay yearly and save 25%.

### Can my team share one plan?

Yes, on Starter and every plan above it. Lite is just you. We charge one card, and everyone on the team shares its hours. How you split the cost is up to you. Each person posts to their own accounts, and there is no price per seat.

### How long does it take?

It depends on how long your video is. Your first short shows up while the rest are still being made, so you can post it right away. We email you when they are all done, so you can close the page.

### Do you train AI on my videos?

No, we do not.

### What languages work?

Captions come out in the language spoken in the video. We do not translate captions into other languages yet, but it is coming.
