It is transcribed word by word, which every later step reads. 2. **Reels are generated from real moments.** Snapped to sentence edges, cropped to 9:16 around the person, captions burned in. Clips that need context are dropped. 3. **Queue to Instagram.** Connect the account in Schedulala once. Reels queue there and to 10+ platforms from the results page. ## What does it do? ### Reels framed for Instagram's overlay Instagram lays its controls over the right edge and the bottom of a Reel. The crop keeps the face clear of those bands and the captions sit where they stay readable in the feed. ### Nothing invented Prompt-to-video tools make footage up. This generator only ever cuts what you filmed, with the sentence each Reel was picked for attached. What you post is yours. [The same rule on any footage](https://cliplala.com/tools/ai-clip-generator) ### Captions for a muted feed Word-level captions with the current word lit, from ten styles, burned into the file. [More on captions](https://cliplala.com/tools/ai-caption-generator) ### Metered on hours of video Cliplala meters the video you upload, not the shorts it makes. Lite is $14 a month for 4 hours; Pro is $78 for 25. Every plan posts to 10+ platforms, and every plan from Starter up includes seats for a team. The first 60 minutes are free, with a small watermark on the clips; paid plans have none. [Full pricing](https://cliplala.com/#pricing) ## Who is it for? ### Vloggers: The line to camera, as a Reel The picker weights what you said to the lens; the tracker keeps you in frame through the walk. ### Coaches: One recording, a week of Reels A talking-head lesson holds a dozen half-minute points. Each becomes a Reel with the point in the captions. ### Podcasters: Episode Reels with both hosts Two people get a stacked frame; a close-up goes solo. Chosen about once a second from the picture. ## What is included? - **Burned-in captions.** Word-level, active word highlighted, ten styles. Rendered into the file. - **Face tracking.** The crop follows the person, through cuts and camera moves. - **Bad cuts dropped.** A short that starts or ends mid-thought does not reach you. - **Ranked with reasons.** Every short says why it was picked, so you can disagree with it. - **Link or file.** Paste a YouTube link, or upload the file straight from your machine. - **Queue to 10+ platforms.** Post from the results page. No export step. - **Never used for training.** Your uploads make your shorts and nothing else. - **60 minutes free.** No credit card. The free clips carry a small watermark; paid plans have none. ## What does it not do? - Footage that was not filmed. Nothing is generated from a prompt; every frame is yours. - A fixed number of shorts. De-duplication and the coherence check drop shorts on purpose; a tight talk yields more than a rambling one. - A score that predicts views. Every short gets a rank and a written reason, and you can disagree with it. ## What else do people ask? ### Is this a text-to-Reel generator? No. Cliplala only cuts Reels from video you upload or link. Nothing is generated from a prompt; every Reel is a real moment from your footage. ### How do I generate Reels from a long video? Upload the video or paste a link. Cliplala transcribes it, cuts the moments that stand alone into 9:16 Reels with captions burned in, crops them around the speaker, and ranks them. Connect Instagram in Schedulala and queue them there and to 10+ other platforms. ### Can it post the Reels to Instagram? Yes. Connect the account in Schedulala once and the results page queues Reels to it on your schedule. The same file can also go to TikTok and Shorts. ### How many shorts do I get from one video? It depends on the video. The engine keeps the moments that stand on their own and drops near-duplicates and cuts that start or end mid-thought, so a tight talk can return more usable shorts than a rambling one. You can set a target count and a clip length before it runs. ### How long are the shorts? Between 15 and 90 seconds by default, snapped to sentence edges so nothing is cut mid-word. You can set the range before the run. ### Can I change a short before posting? Yes. You can fix a caption, change the caption style, swap the layout, or drop the clip. Then queue it, or download it. ### Is the AI Reel generator free? Your first 60 minutes of source video are free with no credit card. Those shorts carry a small Cliplala watermark. Paid plans start at $14 a month for 4 hours of video and have no watermark. ### Is my video used to train anything? No. Your uploads are used to make your shorts and for nothing else. Source files are deleted after 30 days; the shorts stay. ## Related tools - [YouTube to Instagram](https://cliplala.com/tools/youtube-to-instagram): YouTube link to Instagram Reels, captioned and queued. - [AI TikTok video generator](https://cliplala.com/tools/ai-tiktok-video-generator): TikToks cut from your own footage, opening on the hook. - [AI shorts maker](https://cliplala.com/tools/ai-shorts-maker): Long video to vertical shorts, ranked and captioned, posted to Shorts and more. - [Video to shorts converter](https://cliplala.com/tools/video-to-shorts-converter): One upload becomes shorts for Shorts, TikTok and Reels at once. - [AI clip generator](https://cliplala.com/tools/ai-clip-generator): Generates shorts from your own footage, not from a prompt. - [AI caption generator](https://cliplala.com/tools/ai-caption-generator): Word-level captions, active word lit, rendered into every short.
