Cliplala

Sunday's message, cut into shorts that stand on their own

Paste the service recording. Cliplala finds the moments that carry one clear idea, frames the preacher for 9:16, burns in the captions, and queues the shorts to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and 10+ platforms. Your team reviews a short list, not the whole service.

What churches get

Each one shown on a different show, straight from the engine.

  1. One clear idea per short, never part three of Sunday.

Every cut snaps to a sentence edge from the transcript, and a second pass checks that the short opens on its own and lands on its own. A clip that needs the rest of the sermon to make sense is re-cut or dropped before your team sees it.

  2. A short list to review, not thirty to sort.

Cliplala removes near-duplicate moments and ranks what is left with a reason each. The review that used to take an afternoon is a list your team can read before the Monday meeting, and a no takes two seconds.

  3. The preacher stays in frame as they move.

The crop follows the speaker across the stage and through the camera cuts, about once a second, so a walk to the other side of the platform does not leave an empty frame. A wide crowd shot goes solo on the preacher when the cut comes back.

  4. Captions people can read with the sound off.

Word-level captions burned into the file in one of ten styles, with the spoken word highlighted. They look the same on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, and nobody has to turn them on.

  5. Queued for the week from one screen.

The shorts your team keeps queue to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and 10+ platforms from the results page. No download, no re-upload, no phone handoff. A frame that is wrong is re-cut with Adjust framing, free on every plan.

The week's posts, from one recording

Paste Sunday's service on Monday morning. The shorts come back ranked with a reason each; you review, the pastor approves, the queue does the posting. The same run covers Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and the rest.

What it does not promise

  • A fixed number of shorts. De-duplication and the coherence check drop shorts on purpose; a tight talk yields more than a rambling one.
  • A score that predicts views. Every short gets a rank and a written reason, and you can disagree with it.
  • A time. Long sources take longer; you see shorts as they finish.
  • A verse checker. Captions come from the spoken words as transcribed; a scripture reference is worth a glance before it goes out, and a caption can be fixed before posting.

Questions

How do I make sermon shorts from Sunday's service?

Paste the service's YouTube link or upload the recording. Cliplala transcribes it, finds the moments that carry one clear idea, cuts them to 9:16 with the preacher in frame and captions burned in, and shows them ranked with a reason each. Your team reviews, then queues the ones you like to your platforms.

Will the shorts make sense on their own?

That is the point of the second pass. Every short is checked for an opening line that stands alone and a closing line that lands. A clip that needs the rest of the sermon is re-cut or dropped, so nothing goes out as part three of Sunday.

Does it handle a preacher who moves around the stage?

Yes. The crop follows the speaker across the stage and through camera cuts, chosen about once a second from what is on screen. A wide shot of the room goes back to the preacher when the camera does.

Can our team review before anything is posted?

Yes. Nothing posts on its own. The shorts come back as a ranked list; you review, fix a caption or a frame if needed, and queue the ones you approve. From the second plan up, seats are included, so the comms lead and a volunteer can share one account.

How many shorts do I get from one video?

It depends on the video. The engine keeps the moments that stand on their own and drops near-duplicates and cuts that start or end mid-thought, so a tight talk can return more usable shorts than a rambling one. You can set a target count and a clip length before it runs.

Is the sermon clipper free?

Your first 60 minutes of source video are free with no credit card. Those shorts carry a small Cliplala watermark. Paid plans start at $14 a month for 4 hours of video and have no watermark.

Can I post the shorts straight to TikTok, Reels and Shorts?

Yes. The results page queues them to 10+ platforms. You do not download and re-upload anything, though a download is there if you want it.

Is my video used to train anything?

No. Your uploads are used to make your shorts and for nothing else. Source files are deleted after 30 days; the shorts stay.

What does it cost for a weekly service?

Plans are metered on hours of recording you send in, not on shorts out. Lite is $14 a month for 4 hours, enough for a weekly service; a church with two services or a midweek gathering fits the next plan up. Cancel any time; a charge is refunded in full within 7 days if no recording has run on the plan.
