Cliplala

Event highlight maker for talks, panels and keynotes

Upload the event recording. Cliplala finds the lines people will quote, crops each one to the speaker on stage, burns in the captions, and ranks them. A day of sessions becomes a week of posts.

Technology always increases job expectations—but capabilities increase more

Why. Actionable reframe for anxious workers. Takes a common fear and flips it with a framework people can use to think about their future.

  2. #2 · 64 · 62s

Having a son changed everything—but I already cared about not destroying the world

Why. Sincere moment about fatherhood, defusing the implication that his son is his only reason for safety caution. The punchline is self-aware.

  3. #3 · 61 · 103s

Your kids will grow up where AI is just normal—like tablets for toddlers

Why. Zooms out to a sweeping vision of the future. The opening and closing create bookends that make the story complete and compelling.

    Moments are found and cut

The picker scores the commentary and the crowd, snaps each cut to a sentence, and drops the clips that need the build-up you cut.

Every session, cut to its best line

A keynote or a talk is scored on the line and the room. The crop follows the speaker; the captions carry the sentence.

Make session highlights

Highlights that make sense without the session

A highlight watched cold needs its own setup. Each clip is checked for that and dropped if it leans on the minute before. Cuts are padded to word boundaries in the commentary, so the call is never clipped mid-word.

Cropped to the speaker on stage

A stage wide shot has to lose most of its width on the way to 9:16. The tracker follows the speaker and keeps one crop per shot, so a walk across the stage stays in the short; a cut to the slides gets its own crop. Game and cam together.

Captions carry the line

A talk's best moment is a sentence. Word-level captions, current word lit, burned into the file so the feed shows it muted. More on captions.

Metered on recording hours

Cliplala meters the recording you upload, not the shorts it makes. Lite is $14 a month for 4 hours; Pro is $78 for 25. Every plan posts to 10+ platforms, and every plan from Starter up includes seats for a team. The first 60 minutes are free, with a small watermark on the clips; paid plans have none. Full pricing.

What it does

  • Ranked with reasons. Every short says why it was picked, so you can disagree with it.
  • Bad cuts dropped. A short that starts or ends mid-thought does not reach you.
  • Face tracking. The crop follows the person, through cuts and camera moves.
  • Layout per moment. Solo, stacked or split, chosen from what is on screen about once a second.
  • Burned-in captions. Word-level, active word highlighted, ten styles. Rendered into the file.
  • Link or file. Paste a YouTube link, or upload the file straight from your machine.
  • Queue to 10+ platforms. Post from the results page. No export step.
  • Priced on hours. Metered on source video. From $14 a month for 4 hours.

What it does not promise

  • A fixed number of shorts. De-duplication and the coherence check drop shorts on purpose; a tight talk yields more than a rambling one.
  • A score that predicts views. Every short gets a rank and a written reason, and you can disagree with it.
  • A time. Long sources take longer; you see shorts as they finish.

Claims on this page come from what ships today. If a row above says it, the engine does it.

Questions

How do I make highlights from an event recording?

Upload the full recording or paste a link. Cliplala scores the moments from the commentary and what is on screen, cuts each to sentence edges, crops it vertical around the action or the person, burns in captions, and ranks them. Queue the top ones to 10+ platforms through Schedulala.

Does it make one long highlight reel or many short clips?

Many short clips, each one a single moment, ranked. That is what the vertical feeds want. A single long reel stitched from them is not part of this flow today.

Does it work on a multi-camera event edit?

Yes. Scene cuts are detected and each shot gets its own crop, so a switch from the speaker to the slides and back does not drag the crop across the stage.

How many shorts do I get from one video?

It depends on the video. The engine keeps the moments that stand on their own and drops near-duplicates and cuts that start or end mid-thought, so a tight talk can return more usable shorts than a rambling one. You can set a target count and a clip length before it runs.

How long are the shorts?

Between 15 and 90 seconds by default, snapped to sentence edges so nothing is cut mid-word. You can set the range before the run.

Is the highlight video maker free?

Your first 60 minutes of source video are free with no credit card. Those shorts carry a small Cliplala watermark. Paid plans start at $14 a month for 4 hours of video and have no watermark.

What can I upload?

A YouTube link, or a file: mp4, mov, m4v, mkv or webm. Uploads go from your browser straight to private storage, so a long file does not have to pass through a form.

Is my video used to train anything?

No. Your uploads are used to make your shorts and for nothing else. Source files are deleted after 30 days; the shorts stay.
