From their users

What people say about Klap, and what we do about it.

Paraphrased from public reviews and threads. Each one links to where it was said.

Clicked what looked like a monthly upgrade and was charged for a full year, with no monthly option shown and no place to cancel.

Trustpilot, June 2026

What we do

Our pricing page opens on monthly. Yearly is a separate toggle, and the yearly total is printed under the price before you click. Stripe checkout shows the same total again before you pay.

Billed an amount they say they never knowingly agreed to, and found the billing practice deceptive.

Trustpilot, August 2026

What we do

The price on the card is the price Stripe charges. There is one plan per hours rung, no packs, and no upsell inside the app that changes what you pay.

A free-trial user found their longer videos needed a bigger plan after they had already paid for the small one.

Trustpilot, June 2026

What we do

No paid plan caps how long one video can be. A longer video just uses more of your monthly hours, and the hours are printed on every pricing card before you buy.

Switching

Moving over takes an afternoon.

  1. 1

    Try 60 minutes free

Paste a link or drop a file. Your first 60 minutes of video run free with a small Cliplala watermark, and you can post or download the shorts. No card.

  2. 2

    Connect your channels in Schedulala

Posting goes through Schedulala, built in. You connect your channels inside Cliplala once, and every short can queue to all of them. There is no second account to open.

  3. 3

Pick a plan by hours, not clips

Count the hours of video you send in a month. A 75-minute podcast is 1.25 hours. Pick the rung that covers it; every rung includes seats.

Questions people ask before switching

Is Cliplala cheaper than Klap?

Month to month, yes: $14 against $29 on the entry plan. Paid yearly Klap drops to $14 a month and we drop to $10.50. The two are not the same unit, though. Klap counts clips the AI generates; we count hours of video you send.

What is a source-hour?

One hour of the video you send us. A 75-minute podcast is 1.25 hours. It is the only unit we use, on every plan.

What does Klap have that you do not?

A timeline editor, saved templates, an intro title overlay, captions in 52 languages, built-in analytics, and an API. If you need those in the same tool, Klap is the better pick today.

Do my shorts expire if I stop paying?

No. Shorts are yours on every plan, including free, and they stay after you cancel. The uploaded source video is kept for 30 days. Klap does not publish an expiry rule.

Do you train AI models on my videos?

No. Your uploads are used to make your shorts and for nothing else. It is written in our terms and privacy policy.

Can I post to the same platforms?

Klap posts to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. We queue to 10+ platforms through Schedulala on every paid plan. You connect your channels inside Cliplala once, and you check each short before it goes.
