Questions people ask before switching
Is Cliplala cheaper than Zubtitle?
The stickers are close: $14 against $19 a month, or $10.50 paid yearly against two months free. But they buy different things. Zubtitle's $19 captions ten short videos you already have. Our $14 turns 4 hours of long video into ranked shorts.
Does Zubtitle clip long videos into shorts?
No. Its pricing page caps uploads at 20 minutes on every plan, and its A.I. menu holds text generators, not a clipper. You trim by hand.
What is a source-hour?
One hour of the video you send us. A 75-minute podcast is 1.25 hours. It is the only unit we use, on every plan.
What does Zubtitle have that you do not?
A caption editor with animations, templates, custom fonts and SRT export, a headline overlay, logos and progress bars, 4K output, and AI-written post text. If you need those on shorts you already have, Zubtitle is the better pick today.
Do my shorts expire if I stop paying?
No. Shorts are yours on every plan, including free, and they stay after you cancel. The uploaded source video is kept for 30 days. Zubtitle does not publish an expiry rule.
Do you train AI models on my videos?
No. Your uploads are used to make your shorts and for nothing else. It is written in our terms and privacy policy.
